STEP 0
Commands you will learn in this excercise
- LLL - lock selected layers
- LLO - turning off selected layers
- LL - specify current layer.
- HO - make holes in wall
- CHOPA - chop crossing lines (from selection)
- EWA - erase walls
- WAC - create corner connection between walls
- MF - multiple fillet
- NLL - create new layers
- MLL - move to specified layer.
- MCLL - move to current laye
Starting situation
STEP 1
Lock 'guides' layer with LLL command
STEP 2
Turn off 'axes' layer with LLO command
STEP 3
Make 'walls_load-bearing' layer current with LL command
STEP 4
Use HO command to create holes in walls. Specify width, start and end point of each hole
STEP 5
Draw lines on 'walls_load-bearing' layer where needed (look at guides)
STEP 6
Use CHOPA command to divide walls. You need to turn off 'guides' layer to make sure that lines that you've drew won't disappear. Use LLO command to turn off selected layer and later LLON tu turn it back on
STEP 7
Erase parts of walls where needed (look at guides) with EWA command
STEP 8
Create corner with WAC command
STEP 9
Close corner of wall with multi-fillet (MF command)
STEP 10
Use NLL command to create 'sills' layer
STEP 11
Move 3 lines (look at guides) to 'sills' layer with MLL command. You can also move objects to current layer with MCLL command (to change current layer use LL command)
FINAL SITUATION
Here is expected result of this excercise. You should get drawing with holes
